Java Whale and Friends creates useful and beautiful objects for anyone to enjoy. This means one-of-a-kind goods at accessible prices. The use of re-purposed materials is both a creative challenge and an ecological responsibility.
Botanical motifs are printed using plants right from the backyard: as local and green as it comes!

A portion of all proceeds from these products is donated to the Nature Conservancy of Canada, an organization dedicated to protecting biologically diverse habitats across the country.
about me
I started making things as soon as I was able to glue one thing to another. Since my mucilage days, I've learned how to knit, crochet, sew, draw, paint, and glue more things together with aplomb.

I have fallen in love with the landscape and lifestyle of the Okanagan. Making things brings me joy, and I hope to pass it along to you through my creations.
